But in both matches it could easily have gone the other way round. In Trondheim Lillestrøm forced Rosenborg into extra-time before a spectacular 20-metres blaster from their captain Brandhaug settled the game. In Drammen Strømsgodset had to soak up tremendous pressure by their neighbours and newly promoted Mjøndalen in the first 20 minutes. But after Johnsen had given them the lead SIF never looked back. In the second half the difference between a team playing in the premier league and one playing in the first shone through and Strømsgodset could have won by a larger margine. Incidently last time Strømsgodset qualified for the final in 1973 they won surprisingly 1-0 against....you're right Rosenborg. This time Rosenborg must be strong favourites again but maybe SIF can spring another surprise... (As a neutral ?? supporter at least I hope so !!) Sorry all RBK-fans !!
