Brann - Viking 0-3 (0-1) Brann stadion Att: 8.392 0-1 Egil Østenstad (30) 0-2 Rune Stakkeland (58) 0-3 Stakkeland (88) Yellow card: Kenneth Storvik, Ingve Bøe, Viking, Lars Bakkerud, Brann. - Viking came back strongly after the cup defeat in midweek, and convincingly beat title chasers Brann. There has been rumours surrounding manager Bjarne Berntsen's future in Viking, but with this win he will at least stay for another week :-) Kongsvinger - Hamarkameratene 5-1 (3-1) Gjemselund stadion Att: 2.798 1-0 Dag Riisnæs (15) 2-0 Bjørn Arild Levernes (21) 3-0 Riisnæs (27) 3-1 Sven Erik Sætre (31) 4-1 Geir Frigård (66) 5-1 Riisnæs (72) Yellow card: Trym Bergman, Kongsvinger, Stian Hagelund, Hamarkameratene. - The 'Hedmark'-derby ended with a large win for the home side which are now second, but already 7 points behind RBK having played one game more. It won't be easy catching them, but on this form who knows. Man of the match was Dag Riisnæs who scored the first hat-trick of the season. Hamkam were just as bad as the scoreline suggests. Lillestrøm - Tromsø 4-0 (1-0) Åråsen stadion Att: 4.159 1-0 Jan Ove Pedersen (7) 2-0 Tom Gulbrandsen (51) 3-0 Peter Hedman (84) 4-0 Hedman (90) Yellow card: Torgeir Bjarmann, André Bergdølmo, Lillestrøm, Jonny Hansen, Lars Espejord, Tromsø. - LSK got their revenge after the defeat in the cup in Tromsø on Wednesday. This time they were clearly the better side. Both Ronny Johnsen (ex-Lyn) and Arve Sandstø (ex-TB Berlin) made their league debuts for LSK. For Tromsø, Sigurd Rushfeldt didn't impress despite (or perhaps because of :-)) the presence of people from Norwich City. Sogndal - Bodø/Glimt 0-0 Fosshaugane stadion Att: 1.371 Yellow card: Bent Inge Johnsen, Runar Berg, Bodø/Glimt, Asle Hillestad, Sogndal. - This game between the two bottom teams ended in a scoreless draw, which didn't help neither Sogndal nor B/G. Both teams were more concerned about not conceding a goal than scoring one themselves. Start - VIF Fotball 3-1 (3-0) Kristiansand stadion Att: 3.684 1-0 Tore André Dahlum (7) 2-0 Petter Belsvik (22) 3-0 Belsvik (pen. 45) 3-1 Pål Lydersen (o.g. 90) Yellow card: Espen Haug, VIF Fotball, Claus Eftevaag, Start. - Start climbed away from the bottom region with this vital win against a VIF-side which sank even deeper into trouble. The outcome was never in doubt, once Start had taken the lead. The only concern was the shoulder injury of striker Dahlum. He might need an operation. For VIF this was another bad game. They really need to get their act together if they want to avoid relegation. At the moment 4 teams are involved: Sogndal, VIF, B/G and Hamkam, but also SIF will be in trouble is they continue as below..... Strømsgodset - Rosenborg 0-7 (0-3) Marienlyst stadion Att: 6.117 0-1 Roar Strand (30) 0-2 Harald Brattbakk (38) 0-3 Bjørn Tore Kvarme (41) 0-4 Brattbakk (46) 0-5 Brattbakk (66) 0-6 Øyvind Leonhardsen (76) 0-7 Karl-Petter Løken (pen. 85) Yellow card: Juro Kuvicek, Strømsgodset, Ståle Stensaas, Rosenborg. Red card: Ryan Nicholls, Strømsgodset. - Prior to this game SIF were undefeated at home. They are not undefeated now. Rosenborg completely outclassed them, and I don't see how any one team can challenge them for the championship. Brattbakk scored his first hat-trick, whereas Ryan Nicholls had the doubtful pleasure of being sent off 6 mins after coming on at half time.
