Lillestrøm - Start 2-2 (0-2) Åråsen stadion Att: 3833 0-1 Petter Belsvik (pen. 14) 0-2 Belsvik (44) 1-2 Ståle Solbakken (pen. 59) 2-2 Solbakken (60) Yellow card: Jan Ove Pedersen, Lillestrøm, Helge Bjønsaas, Frode Olsen, Morten Pettersen, Start. - Another controversial match involving the referee and Start. After last Sunday's scandal at Stavanger stadion, this match was marred by two dubious penalties and one goal following a clear handball. The goalscorers were two old pals from Hamar, Solbakken and Belsvik. Bodø/Glimt - VIF Fotball 3-2 (2-1) Aspmyra stadion Att: 4517 1-0 Runar Berg (17) 1-1 Knut Aga jr. (27) 2-1 R. Berg (32) 3-1 Bent Inge Johnsen (64) 3-2 Ståle Andersen (73) Yellow card: Terje Olsen, Jan Erling Kruse, VIF Fotball. - B/G took the last straw and beat fellow struggelers VIF deserved 3-2. They dominated the first half and could have been 2 or 3 up at half time. In the second, the home side faded and after VIF pulled one back 17 minutes from time, the visitors could even had equalized in the dying seconds. Hamarkameratene - Rosenborg 3-2 (3-0) Briskeby gressbane Att: 5869 1-0 Stein Arne Ingelstad (20) 2-0 Rolf Furuly (32) 3-0 Ingelstad (39) 3-1 Øyvind Leonhardsen (57) 3-2 Kent Bergersen (90) Yellow card: Tom Henning Hovi, Ronny Pedersen, Svein Erik Sætre, Hamarkameratene, Bjørn Otto Bragstad, Rosenborg. - The SHOCK of the day, or perhaps the year. RBK lost their first league and cup game this season. At half time the home side was already three goals up, perhaps a bit flattering, but well deserved. Naturally in the second half RBK fought back to salvage some pride, but never really did look like winning, although they came very close. This win was bad news for the other relegation candidates. For RBK, it was probably just a small set-back on their way to the double. Kongsvinger - Brann 4-0 (1-0) Gjemselund stadion Att: 2266 1-0 Lars Bakkerud (o.g. 1) 2-0 Christer Basma (51) 3-0 Bjørn Arild Levernes (68) 4-0 Dag Riisnæs (89) Yellow card: Dag Riisnæs, Kongsvinger, Geirmund Brendesæther, Brann. - The two most in-consistent teams in Norway, once again proved why they both have that label. After a few defeats in a row, KIL played one of their best matches of the season, whereas Brann probably played their worst. Note that KIL are now 2-0-0 8-0 !!! against Brann this season. Guess the home side wished they played Brann every week :-) Sogndal - Strømsgodset 2-0 (2-0) Fosshaugane stadion Att: 1461 1-0 Bent Apneseth (2) 2-0 Asle Hillestad (13) Yellow card: Thomas Røed, Strømsgodset. - Strømsgodset are on their way down. Their defence is the worst in the division and their forwards are non-existent. Only a miracle can save the team from Drammen now. Sogndal, on the other hand, continue to fight to stay up in their usual unsophisticated manner. They will probably survive this year as well. Tromsø - Viking 1-1 (0-1) Alfheim stadion Att: 3837 0-1 Ingve Bøe (pen. 44) 1-1 Rune Marthinussen (64) Yellow card: Svein Morten Johansen, Morten Kræmer, Tromsø, Egil Ulfstein, Egil Østenstad, Viking. Red card: Morten Kræmer, Tromsø. - The home side marred with injuries to key players managed to draw against improving Viking, which are undefeated since the WC break. The achievement of the day belongs to Morten Kræmer, Tromsø. He came in as a substitute in the 74th minute, received a booking after a few minutes and then another one few minutes later. Voila, off he went.
