Bodø/Glimt - Brann 3-0 (1-0) Aspmyra stadion Att: 3452 1-0 Aasmund Bjørkan (35) 2-0 Bent Inge Johnsen (80) 3-0 Ørjan Berg (89) Yellow card: Runar Berg, Ørjan Berg, Andreas Evjen, Bodø/Glimt. - As I said last week, B/G are playing well at the moment. They deservedly beat Brann, even though the winning margin perhaps was too high. With this win the home side is now out of the bottom two for the first time in many weeks. Brann are along with KIL the most inconsistent team of the premier division, and in this match they once more showed why. Hamarkameratene - Strømsgodset 2-0 (1-0) Briskeby gressbane Att: 2412 1-0 Sven Erik Sætre (pen. 12) 2-0 Jon Eirik Ødegaard (67) Yellow card: Ryan Nicholls, Vegard Røed, Thomas Røed, Odd Johnsen, Strømsgodset, Jon Eirik Ødegaard, Hamarkameratene. - The visitors fate was almost certainly decided with this defeat. Even their coach admitted that time is now running out for the team from Drammen. Ham-Kam, on the other hand, won convincingly and are probably guaranteed premier division survival. Kongsvinger - Start 2-1 (0-0) Gjemselund stadion Att: 2321 1-0 Bjørn Arild Levernes (46) 1-1 Petter Belsvik (49) 2-1 Arnfinn Engerbakk (64) Yellow card: Ole Einar Martinsen, Svein Enersen, Kongsvinger. - Kongsvinger are still looking for one of the medals, whereas the visitors hope of any silverware must have disappeared with this match. They should be more concerned about the teams behind them than those in front. Another concern is that Start are almost bankrupt, and _could_ lose their license and be relegated to division two if things are not sorted out. Sogndal - Lillestrøm 1-5 (1-2) Fosshaugane stadion Att: 1659 1-0 Tore André Flo (2) 1-1 Ronny Johnsen (38) 1-2 Jan Ove Pedersen (43) 1-3 Torgeir Bjarmann (69) 1-4 Arne Sandstø (79) 1-5 Kåre Ingebrigtsen (83) Yellow card: Kåre Ingebrigtsen, Anders Jacobsen, Lillestrøm. - After conceding an early goal and playing lousy for the next 30 minutes, LSK came back strongly after their equalizer, and really dominated the rest of the game. Sogndal are now in serious danger of relegation, especially since three of their remaining four games are away from home. LSK, on the other hand, still holds a firm grip on the silver medals. Tromsø - Rosenborg 1-1 (1-1) Alfheim stadion Att: 3638 1-0 Sigurd Rushfeldt (17) 1-1 Harald Brattbakk (34) Yellow card: Tor André Grenersen, Rune Marthinussen, Morten Pedersen, Tromsø, Bjørn Otto Bragstad, Rosenborg. - Top-striker Rushfeldt, surprisingly dropped from next weeks EC-qualifier at Ullevaal, answered 'Drillo' with a well-taken goal after a defensive error. However, the champions came back and equalized through their top scorer Brattbakk. This goal was his 12th of the season. After that both sides seemed content with a draw in the terrible weather conditions, rain and only 5 degrees Celsius. VIF Fotball - Viking 2-2 (2-2) Ullevaal stadion Att: 3899 1-0 Morten Kihle (11) 1-1 Ingve Bøe (pen. 14) 1-2 Bjørn Johansen (18) 2-2 Knut Aga jr. (34) Yellow card: Egil Østenstad, Gøran Sørloth, Viking. - The two in-form teams shared the points in a good match at Ullevaal. This time I was not in the stands, but reports say that a draw was a fair result. Noteworthy was the second goal for Viking, where Johansen ran half the length of the field, past three or four home defenders, before slotting the ball past Krogstad. Although not at the same level, it reminded much of the famous goal of Maradona in the 1986 WC against England (no, not the 'Hand of God', the other one :-) )
