Molde - Lillestrøm 1-2 (0-1) Molde stadion Att: 2335 0-1 Dennis Schiller (5) 1-1 Daniel Berg Hestad (50) 1-2 Arne Sandstø (66) Yellow card: Odd Petter Lyngstad, Flaco, Knut Anders Forstervold, Molde, Petter Werni, Lillestrøm. - Molde are on the verge of collapsing, and LSK ran out deservedly as winners in this live TV game. The visitors are now third and will probably salvage a UEFA cup place on their own if they beat B/G next week. Bodø/Glimt - Stabæk 0-1 (0-1) Aspmyra Att: 4382 0-1 Bjørn Viljugrein (31) - A tactical triumph for the visitors, who got their first away win of the season, and are now safe from relegation. The home side never managed to find out how to unlock the Stabæk defense, and the defeat put a dent into B/G's hopes of European football next season. Kongsvinger - Viking 3-4 (1-1) Gjemselund Att: 2038 0-1 Gunnar Aase (12) 1-1 Vidar Riseth (pen. 32) 2-1 Jørn Karlsrud (46) 3-1 Pål Håpnes (53) 3-2 Bjarte L. Aarsheim (57) 3-3 Egil Østenstad (75) 3-4 Erik Pedersen (pen. 79) Red card: Trym Bergmann, Kongsvinger. Yellow card: Pål Håpnes, Kongsvinger, Erik Pedersen, O. A. Espevoll, Viking. - With the lead 3-1, things were looking good for the home side in their struggle to avoid relegation, but in the end they conceded three more goals and ended up on the losers side, which is unforgivable considering their league position. Vikin, on the other hand have a very crucial game against Molde in Stavanger next week. A win there, and they can even take the silver medals! Rosenborg - Brann 3-1 (2-0) Lerkendal Att: 7492 1-0 Tom Kåre Staurvik (2) 2-0 Harald Brattbakk (35) 2-1 Magnus Johansson (84) 3-1 Brattbakk (90) Red card: Jørn Jamtfall, Rosenborg. Yellow card: Magnus Johansson, Brann. - A dramatic game in Trondheim, although none of the teams had much to play for. Goalkeeper Jamtfall were sent off 7 minutes from time, and had to be replaced by Staurvik, who, earlier in the game had scored on a cracking free-kick. The sending off means that Jamtfall will be suspended for the next game, and thus won't get enough matches to receive the League champion medals. Pit for the RBK keeper, although it has to be said that the sending off was correct. As for the rest of the game, RBK mostly dominated, but Brann were dangerous on their counter attacks, and based on this encounter, the cup final in three weeks will be a enjoyable one. Start - Hamarkameratene 1-2 (0-0) Kristiansand stadion Att: 2112 0-1 Darko Nestorovic (50) 0-2 Atle Maurud (60) 1-2 Slobodan Miletic (77) - Two ex-Yugoslavian goals in Kristiansand, where the visitors grabbed their last chance of survival and dragged Start even deeper into the relegation struggle. Quite unbelievable that the home side are there in the first place when you look at the players they have, at least on paper. Tromsø - Strindheim 1-0 (1-0) Alfheim Att: 2743 1-0 Morten Kræmer (3) Yellow card: Bjørn Ludviksen, Tromsø. - A wonderful volley from just outside the area secured another season for the home side in the premier division. Apart from the early goal, the game was rather crappy, and didn't end up as the goal feast the home supporters had expected. VIF Fotball - Hødd 3-2 (2-2) Ullevaal Att: 3490 0-1 Tor Arne Haddal (2) 1-1 Kent Bergersen (15) 2-1 Dag Riisnæs (22) 2-2 Geir Televik (35) 3-2 Bergersen (64) Yellow card: Hans Brandal, Hødd. - This was the game of the beautiful goals. All five were exceptionally well executed, but the goals of Bergersen were extraordinary. First, he received the return ball after a corner, faked a shot which sent two Hødd players to the ground trying to block the expected shot, and then calmly placed the ball just inside the post through a forest of players. After Televik had equalized with a wonderful shot in the corner from 20 metres, Bergersen struck again with what must have been one of the goals of the season: He received the ball 20 metres into the Hødd half on the right, and first played the ball on one side of a defender before running past him on the other side. Then, he advanced until the penalty area, where his faking with his body sent another defender to the right, and himself and the ball to the left. Finally he wrongfooted the goalkeeper, who threw himself to the left, only to discover that the ball had ended up in the right corner when he got up. A truly magnificent goal. With this defeat Hødd are still facing relegation, whereas VIF could still reach one of the UEFA cup places if all other games go their way in the last two rounds.
