Brann - Tromsø 3-3 (1-1) Att: 10 702 0-1 Jonny Hanssen (27) 1-1 Mons Ivar Mjelde (33) 2-1 Mjelde (pen. 63) 2-2 Bjørn Ludvigsen (76) 3-2 Jan Ove Pedersen (90) 3-3 Steinar Nilsen (90) Yellow card:: Stein Berg Johansen, Ole Martin Årst, Morten Kræmer, Tromsø. - Brann looked like grabbing the bronze medals when Pedersen gave them the lead in the last minute. However, two minutes into injury time TIL equalized, and thereby sent the medals south to Stavanger. All the visitors goals came on shots from way outside the penalty area, and neither of them looked unstoppable for keeper Kristinsson... Still Brann qualified for the UEFA Cup next season, as the Norwegian fair play representative. TIL can also make it into Europe, if they win the cup final next week. Lillestrøm - Skeid 5-0 (3-0) Att: 4349 1-0 André Bergdølmo (14) 2-0 Gard Kristiansen (37) 3-0 Geir Frigård (44) 4-0 Frigård (69) 5-0 Kenneth Giske (87) Yellow card:: Ole Petter Skonnord, Skeid. - The silver medals went to LSK and deservedly so. Skeid was no match form the home team, which could have won by a larger margin. The visitors have had a disasterous end of the season. Eight matches ago they were third and fighting for the UEFA cup places, but after eight consecutive defeats they even flirted with relegation in the end. Things must certainly improve next season, otherwise Skeid will end up in the first division sooner than they'd like. Moss - Kongsvinger 2-2 (1-0) Att: 4602 1-0 Martin Andresen (39) 2-0 Andresen (49) 2-1 Trym Bergman (62) 2-2 Jørn Karlsrud (78) Yellow card:: Andreas Nyhaug, Moss, Charles Berstad, Sven Erik Sætre, Kongsvinger. - Moss had it all in their own hands, and looked like saving their place for an hour after getting a 2-0 lead. However, they relaxed and let KIL equalize, and with the outcome in Kristainsand, Moss went down on fewer scored goals. So close, but yet so far away... Rosenborg - Bodø/Glimt 2-0 (1-0) Att: 7349 1-0 Jahn Ivar Jakobsen (45) 2-0 Trond Egil Soltvedt (60) Yellow card:: Vegard Heggem, Rosenborg, Ørjan Berg, Bodø/Glimt. - RBK cruised to another home win, in a match of very little importance to both teams, as they both have other things on their mind right now. RBK are concentrated on the Champions League, whereas B/G are focused on the cup final next week. Start - Strømsgodset 2-6 (1-2) Att: 1331 0-1 Jostein Flo (11) 0-2 Krister Isaksen (36) 1-2 Terje Leonardsen (42) 1-3 Flo (57) 1-4 Thomas Røed (60) 2-4 Lee Robertson (70) 2-5 Isaksen (75) 2-6 Isaksen (90) Yellow card:: Lee Robertson, Start, Krister Isaksen, Dimitrij Barannik, Strømsgodset. - What a dramatic finish to the season! For 89 minutes of this game, SIF were still heading towards the first division next season, but a last minute goal saved their place in the premier division, and that on goal difference! Viking - Molde 3-0 (1-0) Att: 5608 1-0 Thomas Solberg (12) 2-0 Gunnar Aase (56) 3-0 Aase (85) Yellow card:: Paul Kane, Gunnar Aase, Viking, Petter Rudi, Knut Anders Fostervold, Per O. Sætre, Molde. - Viking finished the season strongly, and were rewarded with the bronze medals and a UEFA cup place after the late TIL equalizer in Bergen. A good job by new Danish coach Poul Andreassen. Vålerenga - Stabæk 2-3 (2-1) Att: 6895 0-1 Andreas Mayer (22) 1-1 Kenneth Nysæther (28) 2-1 Nysæther (38) 2-2 Petter Belsvik (55) 2-3 Kjell Roar Kaasa (80) Yellow card:: Dag Riisnæs, Espen Haug, Bjørn Arild Levernes, Vålerenga, Andreas Mayer, Stabæk. - Vålerenga could have saved themselves had they managed to hold on to their lead at half time. However, as so often before this season they didn't manage to do that, and were thus relegated. However, with new sponsors ready to invest in the club the situation looks far from dark, and a rapid return to the premier division is certainly possible.
