- A nigtmare first 20 minutes for the home side from which they never 
  recovered. Viking were very efficient with Skogheim in brilliant form.
  In the next two matches we will be able to see whether none/one/both of
  these teams are able to challenge RBK at the top as they both meet the
  champions at home.

- VIF are still bottom, but at least they got their first point of the
  season in a game of two halves. VIF completely dominated the first half and
  lead 2-0 at halftime. In the second, though, it was a completely different
  story, now with the home team in even more command. Moss managed to equalize
  and had plenty of chances for the winner.

- History repeated itself at Lerkendal. After the 0-9 drubbing of 1994, 
  Brann did one worse and lost 0-10 two years later. A disgrace for
  Norwegian football! Although Rosenborg are Norway's best teams and played
  a very good game, a potential rival for the title simply doesn't lose with 
  double figures against the champion. Brann should be ashamed of themselves.
  Rosenborg were very efficient. They scored six goals in the first half on 
  only eight opportunities!

- Another 1-0 win for Skeid, in another game they played with ten men for
  most of the game. What will happen when they are able to keep all they
  players on the field for the full 90 minutes? This win lifts the Oslo club
  up to 4th place. TIL were a major disappointment. Even with one man 
  advantage they hardly threatened to score until the last minutes. For the
  rest of the game, Skeid were in command and the win was fully deserved.
