Bodø/Glimt - Tromsø 3-2 (1-1) Aspmyra stadion Att: 3363 1-0 Tommy Bergersen (9) 1-1 Rune Lange (39) 2-1 Lee Robertson (50) 2-2 Lange (69) 3-2 Tom Kåre Staurvik (83) Yellow card: Tryggvi Gudmundsson, Frode Fermann, Roar Christensen, Tromsø. Red card: Tryggvi Gudmundsson, Tromsø. - B/G won the derby of Northern Norway, and showed why they are currently placed above TIL in the table. It was a close call, though, and the match was only decided when the visitors were reduced to 10 men after a second (questionable) booking for Gudmundsson. With the one-man advantage, Staurvik, 5 minutes after coming on as a sub in his first game of the season, scored from 20 metres out to give the home side the three points. Kongsvinger - Vålerenga 1-3 (1-2) Gjemselund stadion Att: 3870 1-0 André Schei Lindbæk (4) 1-1 Joachim Walltin (26) 1-2 Bjørn Arild Levernes (31) 1-3 Tom Henning Hovi (70) Yellow card: Marius Gullerud, Kongsvinger, John Carew, Kjell Roar Kaasa, Vålerenga. - A very important away win for Vålerenga, which are now ahead of KIL on goal difference, and out of the bottom three for the first time in months. The home side took an early lead when Lindbæk, on loan from Abildsø, scored with his first touch on the ball in the premier division. However, the visitors came back and two quick goals in the middle of the first half turned the game around. In the second half, Vålerenga opted to defend, mixed with quick counter-attacks, which proved to be a good option as KIL didn't create a single good chance. Instead, Hovi decided the game with a well-placed header midway through the half. Much to the joy of the many faitful Vålerenga supporters, who in the first half staged a sit-down protest in support of Eurostand, an effort working to block the UEFA proposal of mandatory all-seater stadiums. Lillestrøm - Haugesund 5-0 (3-0) Åråsen stadion Att: 2679 1-0 Runar Kristinsson (11) 2-0 Mamadou Diallo (13) 3-0 Diallo (24) 4-0 Trond Bjørnsen (89) 5-0 Bjørnsen (90) - FKH played their worst half of the season, and quickly found themselves three goal down. Of course, the game was over as a contest by then. Both Diallo, in his first game for a month, and young prospect Bjørnson scored two goals. With this defeat, FKH find themselves in the relegation zone once more. Moss - Rosenborg 1-3 (1-3) Melløs stadion Att: 4132 0-1 Roar Strand (3) 1-1 Dagfinn Enerly (32) 1-2 Sigurd Rushfeldt (36) 1-3 Strand (39) Yellow card: Anders Juliussen, Moss, Jahn Ivar Jakobsen, Rosenborg. - An important away win for the champions. Their better finishing proved the difference on the day. Now, with 4 home games and only one away game in Molde left, things are looking good for a successful defence of their championship. Sogndal - Molde 1-4 (0-2) Fosshaugane Att: 1055 0-1 Freddy dos Santos (21) 0-2 Odd Inge Olsen (43) 1-2 Rune Buer Johansen (47) 1-3 Trond Andersen (68) 1-4 Thomas Mork (85) Yellow card: Asle Hillestad, Ståle Bokalrud, Sogndal, Jo Tessem, Molde. - Molde refuse to give away the lead, and bottom club Sogndal were unable to mount any challenge. The win leaves Molde one point ahead of RBK, whereas SIL have 8 points up to the play-off spot, with only 5 matches remaining. Surely, anything other than relegation will be a major surprise. Stabæk - Strømsgodset 4-0 (4-0) Nadderud stadion Att: 2669 1-0 Tommy Stenersen (14) 2-0 Helgi Sigurdsson (17) 3-0 Sigurdsson (28) 4-0 Petter Belsvik (37) Yellow card: Anders Michelsen, Strømsgodset. - Stabæk advanced to the third position with a convincing first half display against the team from Drammen. The visitors were appalling in that half, and a similar display on Tuesday away to Aston Villa in the UEFA Cup will prove disaster. Their only excuse was the absence of striker Jostein Flo. It's still unsure whether he'll play on Tuesday. Viking - Brann 2-3 (1-1) Stavanger stadion Att: 5095 0-1 Kjetil Løvvik (3) 1-1 Vegard Skogheim (36) 1-2 Løvvik (53) 1-3 Løvvik (pen. 67) 2-3 Rikhardur Dadason (87) Yellow card: Magnus Svensson, Vegard Skogheim, Viking, Raymond Kvisvik, Brann. - Brann continue their excellent form, and must surely be considered one of the best teams in Norway at the moment. Viking lost their second home game, and seem to have lost some momentum in their quest for the bronze medals. Man of the match was Løvvik, who scored all three goals for Brann. With this win, the team from Bergen, look to have secured yet another season in the premier division.
