Brann - Viking 1-4 (0-2) Att: 12 290 0-1 Rikhardur Dadason (24) 0-2 Erik Nevland (45) 0-3 Vegard Skogheim (49) 1-3 Geir Hasund (73) 1-4 Nevland (83) Yellow card: Erik Nevland, Viking. - Another low point of the season for Brann, after losing yet again. Despite most of the posession, the home team run out of ideas in front of goal. Also, they continue to give away simple goals, exemplified to two horrific back passes by defenders against Viking. The visitors on the other hand look likely to be a challenger for RBK at the top. Haugesund - Lillestrøm 0-2 (0-1) Att: 5950 0-1 Mamadou Diallo (pen. 28) 0-2 Frode Kippe (70) Yellow card: Peter Werni, Torgeir Bjarmann, Lillestrøm. Red card: Asbjørn Helgeland (28), Haugesund. - The decisive point in this game was the correct sending off of Helgeland for handling on the line. As the subsequent penalty was converted, LSK were in control, and they never gave it away. Molde - Sogndal 4-0 (1-0) Att: 10 100 1-0 Andreas Lund (44) 2-0 Ole Bjørn Sundgot (48) 3-0 Jo Tessem (67) 4-0 Daniel Berg Hestad (76) Yellow card: Arild Andersen, Petter Bakke, Sogndal. - Molde continue to shadow RBK at the top. As expected Sogndal were no contest, and were easily exposed. Rosenborg - Moss 6-0 (2-0) Att: 21 230 1-0 Sigurd Rushfeldt (16) 2-0 Roar Strand (40) 3-0 Jahn Ivar Jakobsen (65) 4-0 Rushfedt (74) 5-0 Rushfeldt (76) 6-0 Rushfeldt (80) - Another impressive display by RBK in general, and Rushfeldt in particular. The big striker scored 4 goals, and is top scorer with 10 goals, but this will probably not be enough for a place in thr WC squad. Moss suffered their second 0-6 away drubbing against one of the top teams, and have to recover during the break. Strømsgodset - Stabæk 2-1 (0-1) Att: 6537 0-1 Tommy Svindal Larsen (34) 1-1 Jostein Flo (47) 2-1 Flo (pen. 88) Yellow card: Lasse Olsen, Strømsgodset, Richard Ackon, Niclas Svensson, Stabæk. - SIF and especially Jostein Flo are on their way up the table after s shaky start, whereas Stabæk suffered a major blow in their quest for the top positions. Flo scored both goals, and showed that he could still be valuable in a Norwegian WC squad. Tromsø - Bodø/Glimt 4-4 (0-2) Att: 6896 0-1 Bengt Sæternes (9) 0-2 Aasmund Bjørkan (34) 1-2 Stein Berg Johansen (56) 1-3 Terje Ellingsen (64) 2-3 Roar Christensen (70) 3-3 Rune Lange (pen. 72) 3-4 Særternes (76) 4-4 Marko Tuomela (89) Yellow card: Stein Berg Johansen, Tromsø, Ola Haldorsen, Bodø/Glimt. - A very exciting Northern Norwegian derby ended with a share of the spoils after a late, but very deserved equalizer by TIL. Despite creating only 5-6 opportunities, the visitors scored four goals, whereas TIL only managed to score their four goals in over 15 chances. Vålerenga - Kongsvinger 2-3 (0-0) Att: 8448 0-1 Harald Martin Solberg (53) 0-2 Solberg (71) 1-2 Jon Eirik Ødegaard (85) 1-3 Andreas Alm (89) 2-3 Vidar Evensen (o.g. 90) Yellow card: Juro Kuvicek, Vålerenga, Marius Gullerud, Jon Inge Høiland, Kongsvinger. - 3-2 seems to be a very popular result when VIF are one of the teams. This was the fifth time in eight matches with that scoreline (two wins, three defeats), so at least the spectators are getting value for their money in terms of goals hen watching VIF. Once again the defensive weaknesses of the home side was appearant (they have yet to play a league game without conceding at least two goals...), but this time around it had nore to do with the midfield then the defenders. No doubt as to what should be high up in the priority list for coach Tjærnås in the three week break because of the U23 European Championships. KIL, on the other hand, are handsomely placed in midfield.
