Lillestrøm - Sogndal 3-0 (1-0) Åråsen stadion Att: 5891 1-0 Pål Strand (25) 2-0 Uwe Rösler (74) 3-0 Rösler (88) Yellow card: Frode Kippe, Lillestrøm, Marco Reda, Dag Christian Sørum, Sogndal. - Another convincing win for Lillestrøm, who suddenly find themselves 7th in the table and out of immediate danger. A wonder goal by Strand, followed by two more by old boy Rösler was enough. Sogndal had little to offer and were outfought for most of the match. Lyn - Brann 2-3 (2-0) Ullevaal stadion Att: 3571 1-0 Helgi Sigurdsson (36) 2-0 Jonny Hanssen (pen. 42) 2-1 Tommy Knarvik (62) 2-2 Robbie Winters (73) 2-3 Frode Hansen (o.g. 86) - A game of two halves. Before the break Lyn dominated completely, scoring two goals and making Brann look like the bottom club they are. After the interval, Lyn looked complacent, whereas Brann started to win more and more duels, resulting in three goals and three crucial points. Lyn are now out of the championship race, and need to keep on to the bronze medals. Brann are out of the bottom three but for how long? Molde - Bodø/Glimt 3-0 (1-0) Molde stadion Att: 6105 1-0 André Schei Lindbæk (32) 2-0 Schei Lindbæk (46) 3-0 Magne Hoseth (67) Yellow card: Cristian Berg, Bodø/Glimt. - Molde easily beat B/G to keep the pressure on Rosenborg. Two more goals for out-of favour striker Schei Lindbæk. B/G are in severe trouble without injured striker Sæternes, and relegation a distinct possiblity. But the visitors can save themselves as they face Moss and already relegated Start in the last two games. Moss - Vålerenga 1-1 (1-1) Melløs stadion Att: 4432 1-0 Jan Tore Ophaug (26) 1-1 Kjetil Rekdal (pen. 37) Yellow card: Johan Arneng, Tom Henning Hovi, Vålerenga. - A tough battle. Once more superiority in terms of play for Vålerenga, but little to show for the effort. Their only goal came from a controversial penalty, when the assistant referee judged Tangen to handle the ball. Moss felt aggrevated after that incident, but can have few complaints as the visitors were the better team. Neither team is out of danger at the bottom. Rosenborg - Stabæk 2-1 (1-0) Lerkendal stadion Att: 13.440 1-0 Trond Fredrik Ludvigsen (37) 2-0 Dagfinn Enerly (68) 2-1 Thomas Finstad (78) Yellow card: Dagfinn Enerly, Janne Saarinen, Rosenborg, Peter Sand, Stabæk. - Without several players due to injury and suspensions RBK once more grabbed all three points in not very convincing fashion. This has been the pattern all season, and looks to be enough to win the title once more. Stabæk have little to play for but offered good resistence, but the team remains a "nearly" team. When will they be able to take the final step and challenge for the title all the way? Start - Bryne 0-2 (0-0) Kristiansand stadion Att: 2548 0-1 Einar Braut (67) 0-2 Dejan Pavlovic (80) Yellow card: Steinar Pedersen, Lars Martin Engedal, Start. - Bryne left it late, but managed to win three vital points against already relegated Start. Actually, the home team played the better football before the break but their inability to score combined with a woeful let the Kristiansand team down once more. Viking - Odd Grenland 0-3 (0-1) Stavanger stadion Att: 6020 0-1 Alexander Aas (28) 0-2 Morten Fevang (52) 0-3 Christian Flindt Bjerg (87) Yellow card: Toni Kuivasto, Viking, Jan Frode Nornes, Morten Fevang, Odd Grenland. - After knocking out Chelsea in the UEFA cup it was back to the earth for Viking losing with three clear goals against Odd. Now, both teams find themselves six points behind third place Lyn, who they both face inside the last two games. So, theoretically both can still win bronze medals, although they both concentrate more on cup football in the next weeks (Viking in UEFA Cup, Odd in cup final).
