Lillestrøm - Brann 3-3 (2-1) Att: 7411 1-0 Ståle Solbakken (pen. 13) 2-0 Arne Sandstø (15) 2-1 Per-Ove Ludvigsen (25) 2-2 Tore André Flo (79) 2-3 Kjetil Løvvik (81) 3-3 Geir Frigård (90) Yellow card: Rune Stakkeland, Tom Gulbrandsen, Ståle Solbakken, Frank Strandli, Dennis Schiller, Lillestrøm, Lars Bakkerud, Jan Ove Pedersen, Per-Ove Ludvigsen, Roger Helland, Brann. - An excellent game between two of Norway's best teams at the moment. LSK looked like winning for a long time, but Brann equalized through Tore Andre Flo, on his first appearence after injury, and also took the lead. Another prolific goalscorer, Frigård, secured the home team one point, and thst only a minute after Solbakken had missed a penalty... Moss - Tromsø 0-1 (0-1) Att: 2986 0-1 Sigurd Rushfeldt (3) Yellow card: Rune Buer Johansen, Sigbjørn Kolnes, Ståle Søbye, Moss. - Still no goals scored for Moss, and another 0-1 home defeat was the result. TIL wasn't that better but an excellent goal from Rushfeldt, lobbing the goal keeper from 30 metres decided the game. Rosenborg - Stabæk 4-2 (3-1) Att: 8953 0-1 Petter Belsvik (24) 1-1 Harald Martin Brattbakk (30) 2-1 André Flem (o.g. 33) 3-1 Tom Kåre Staurvik (38) 4-1 Brattbakk (70) 4-2 Kjell Roar Kaasa (87) Yellow card: Trond Egil Soltvedt, Rosenborg, André Flem, Geir Bakke, Stabæk. - Stabæk took the lead, but then the black-and-white machine started rolling, and by half time it was all academic. Top scorer Brattbakk scored twice and claimed a third, although the shot clearly changing direction on Flem before going into the net. Skeid - Bodø/Glimt 1-3 (1-2) Att: 3292 1-0 Runar Berg (o.g. 7) 1-1 Runar Berg (26) 1-2 Aasmund Bjørkan (35) 1-3 Bjørkan (67) Yellow card: Tom Henning Hovi, Carsten Johansen, Skeid, Runar Berg, Bodø/Glimt. - An evenly balanced game at Ullevaal, with the more experienced away side winning in the end. Once again, defensive errors in Skeid allowed B/G to score a couple of soft goals, and frankly, if they don't sort that out, the home time will find it a hard time surviving. You can't concede three goals in every home game, and hope to win even though your play on the field matches your opponents. Strømsgodset - Kongsvinger 1-1 (0-0) Att: 3460 1-0 Krister Isaksen (59) 1-1 Vidar Riseth (66) Yellow card: Thomas Røed, Strømsgodset. - Penalties and SIF is not a good combination. For the third match in a row(!), the home team missed from the spot kick. It was also the third different player missing... Wonder who will be next? :-) As for the match it was very poor, and both teams showed why they are tipped for the bottom positions. Viking - Vålerenga 2-1 (1-0) Att: 7109 1-0 Egil Østenstad (31) 1-1 Knut Aga jr. (79) 2-1 Østenstad (82) Yellow card: Kent Karlsen, Vålerenga. - After a third successive defeat, there is definitely a crisis in the Oslo club, and their next opponents are Rosenborg on Wednesday... At least VIF scored a goal, but what good does that do you, when you concede a very soft goal minutes later :-( Viking said thank you, and grabbed the win, with Østenstad finally putting away two of his many chances. Start - Molde 4-2 (1-2) Att: 2608 1-0 Tore André Dahlum (14) 1-1 Ole Bjørn Sundgot (15) 1-2 Odd Inge Olsen (27) 2-2 Morten Pettersen (pen. 57) 3-2 Kjetil Ruthford Pedersen (o.g. 70) 4-2 Andreas Lund (75) Yellow card: Pål Lydersen, Start, Kjetil Ruthford Pedersen, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Daniel Berg Hestad, Molde. - A surprise in Kristiansand, where favourites Molde lost against an inspired Start. The home team showed a lot of the determination, that sadly lacked in their play last year, and in the end not even Molde coach Hareide had any complaints about the result. Lydersen completely tamed Solskjær, and in midfield Mykland were better than Rudi. It will be interesting to see whether Start can follow up this good start to the league campaign, or not.
